Small Wood, as the title states, is a small wooden forest filled with small mammals, and large game. A few caves are also located in this area but usually lead underground. Lurking inside the small wood is a moster that has been pleaging the small Village near Snake River for a few months now.

Bree hung from a branch with her feet dangling off the side, sharpening a dagger with a stone. Brazil was on her shoulder, happy to get some sleep. It was night, making Bree's eyes glow slightly. She smiled as she tossed the onto the ground. "That's better." She slid her weapon into her belt and leaned against the trunck, taking in the sounds or the twilight hours. Crickets chirping, frogs croaking, etc. She gave a sigh, letting herself relax.

Ouno was crouched amung the trees her ears listening for any sounds that seemed out of the ordinary. A smile came to her lips, small but a smile all together. Turning on her heel she stood up slowly and then headed back to the cave. She cocked her head at Cebrus, who was sitting at the cave entrance, and then made a small yip. Cebrus's tail wagged once and then he headed into the cave, Ouno following close behind.

Bree snapped her eyes open to the sound of a yip. "That was definalty not a frog." She said alound, waking Brazil up. He quinted his eyes slightly, not liking being awake. "Sorry." She jumped down to the ground and looked around, eyes still glowing. "I'm just letting my mind play tricks on me." Brazil just gave a look that said 'now you tell me.' 

Ouno saw Cebrus' ears moves but paid no mind to it when he didn't run out of the cave. Setting down her bow, freshly oiled, she begain to fix up her fire. Breathing on it a little, as she rubbed her flint and steal, her small fire begain to take on life. Her face was calm as she moved over her cooking spit over the fire. Ouno stretched and then looked around before sticking a skinned rabit on a spit and then hung it over the fire. Cebrus watched his eyes a little big when he saw the food. Concintrated on cooking she din't really notice the popping and sizzling of her cooking fire.

Bree started to relax a bit more when nothing happened for a while, then started to climb back up into the tree. She did it as easily as a squirrel would, or maybe a lizard, resting back on a higher branch. She jumped from tree to tree, not missing a beat. She prefered being above the ground. It made her feel strong, untouchable, powerful. Brazil still kept an eye out, feeling something was up. 

Ouno yawned and then got up from the fire as he meat finished cooking. Pulling it off she tore off a large chunk for Cebrus and then headed outisde the cave to eat hers. She was sitting on a rock outside when she heard movement in the trees. Knowing she was at a disadvantage she flattened herslef to the rocks, hoping she wouldn't be seen. Though, her food she was holding would give off quite a sent. Ouno thought about Cebrus, hoping he would get her mental message and come outside.

Brazil perked his head up to the smell of cooked meat. The nipped at Bree's ear to get her attention. "Brazil," She whispered, rubbing her ear. "I warned you about this." He motioned to where the scent was coming from. Bree sniffed the air, able to smell it barely. "That's strange. I'll go check it out." She knew that she would have to be sneaky for this, so she changed into her basilisk form. She gripped all eight of her now reptillian legs to the branch, jumping down to the grounf and carefully inching closer to the scent. She tried to keep her body language calm, just in case things turned nasty.

Ouno looked around for a few minutes. Seeing nothing she straitened and then headed back into the cave. With out thinking she left the food ouside of the cave as she headed inside. Settleing down she sat back down at the small fire, using Cebrus to lean her back on. Her overly large wolf companion guarded the inside of the cave with his large ears and killer sense of smell. Ouno reached out and then ripped off a chunk of the rabbit that wasn't coocked and gave it to Cebrus when she thought the cost was clear. Sighing she lifted her arms above her head and looked up at the cave cealing. She watched it for a moment and then reached for her dagger, starting to sharpen it.

Bree continued to stalk in the shadows until she was looking at the entrance of a cave. She sniffed around, getting the scent of food from here, and slowly started to emerge. She didn't see anyone, but she had a feeling that something was around. Cooked food doesn't fall from the sky. She found the meat and inspected it. She decided to eat in her basilisk form so that nothing would try and take it. She grabbed the meat and curled up around a tree trunk. Her claws and teeth ripped through the food like taffy. She licked her lips at the taste. 

Once Ouno was doen she sat by the fire listening to the world around her. Cebrus lifted his head from his meat and then let out a long growl. Turning Ouno looked at him ready to move. "Go on then, go investigate," she said to him. Cebrus looked at her his gaint white wolfish face slightly stained red. He got up with a grunt and then went outside. His gaint body was at least twice the size of a canadian wolves and scraped across the bushes and rocks as he sniffed around the outside of the cave.

Cebrus looked around and then lowered his head as he saw the creatures. Then he lifted his head and started barking, not like a dogs but more like a throat ripping yip. Ouno came boldering out and with her bow and arrows thats when she saw what looked like a tail and then saw the snake like head. She instenctively set an arow when she thought it moved and couldn't see it anymore. Slowly she started to move the bushes around.

Ouno had to take a few steps back when she noticed the thing rising up. She scrurried backwards and then took aim at it, Cebrus growling at his side her green eyes narrowed and she barried her teeth. "Get back moster, or I'll.....I'll," for some reason she was losing her curage, and Cebrus was twitching out the corner of her eye. shaking her head she let loose and arrow, wich embeded itself into the tree beside the monster.

Bree physically jumped as the arrow struck the tree beside her. She was stunned for a second, her fin laid now flat against her back. She hissed slightly as she got back on all eight, starting to change back to her normal self. She was crouching down when the trnasformation was complete, then slowly got up on her two feet. Brazil was still on her shoulder, tail slightly clinging to her neck. "I think monster is a bit of a strong word, don'y ya think?" She said as she climbed up the tree, grabbing the arrow on her way up, and retreated as mysteriously as she came. 

Ouno was both surprised and starled when the monster changed into a girl and then shook her head. After a moment she took off after the girl, using all of her limbs to run across the ground like an animal. Cebrus ran beside her for a moment, before Ouno grabbed onto his coat and swung up on his back. She ran him under the trees trying to find the girl. "Come back!" she growled in fustration.

Bree stopped as she heard that, sitting on the branch she was currently on. She dangled her legs off the side as Brazil crawled down her arm and next to her. She didn't say anything as she stayed up in the trees, her safe spot.

Ouno finally saw her legs and had Cebrus trott over to it. She stayed sitting on his back, her legs gripping his sides so she didn't fall off. It wasn't very far to the ground, but far enough she didn't want to fall. "Who are you?" she asked yelling up the tree.

Bree hooked her legs to the branch and let herself fall backwards, letting herself hang like a bat. "Name's Bree." She crossed her arms as she continued to dangle. "And just who are you?"
