Brazil fractically nodded his head as he sped up ahead. He got to the cave in one time, only to find that Bree had already left. He chirped slightly in worry as he tried to think. Then he remembered Loki. Maybe he could help and might know where Bree went. He skittered up to him and starting shirping and chattering like a madman, trying to get his message through.

Cebrus stumbled again sending Ouno loss from his grip. Falling on some roots she cried out and then heard a hound baying. She looked up startled to see Cebrus coming towards him. She growled and snarled at him, tellin ghim to leave her. He whimpered but obeyed. Crawling into a small burrow she started to pile leaves in the opening, followed by sticks. Soon only a few rays of light bled in thgouh her small unstable wall. She could hear the horns, hooves, and baying of hounds. Hs elcoesd her eyes tight and hopped Cerbus was getting away okay, and the others.

Bree lifted her head up to the sounds of a search party coming. She gave a silent curse as she changed to her basalisk form, Squezzing herself into a hollow place in the shadows. She curled up, but left her eyes visible to though around. If they looked in them now, it would be a cold fate for them.

Bree waited until she could just see the patrols in her range. She gave a hiss as she disappered deeper into the shadows. I'll show them what happens when you mess with me.

Ouno finsihed cleaning her leg and setting it with sticks. Her knew found freind was a younge black tailed stag. he watched her and then nudged her shoulder for more of the goose berries she had found. She offered them to him and then stood up slowly, using him as a balance. After he was finished she swung onto his back. It wasn't unlike that of a young horse. He paced back and forth from a moent and then trotted forward. Ouno held on and then thought about Bree an dLoki. Her new stag freind glanced back at her as if agreiing to the image and then took off at a fast trot.

Bree continued to walk, hearing that the patrols were following her as she hissed and moved, She grinned knowing that they would do that. That's right. Follow the bouncing basilisk. She managed to stay out of sight, determined to keep things interesting.

Ouno lurched forward as the stag carring her stopped suddenly. His head wen tup and hten glanced around, sniffing. His eyes widened a bit and then he snorted, ears flicking. Ouno sat forward agian and then glanced around, something smelled off. The stag stood there and then lurched to the side, almost throwing Ouno. He bolted with Ouno barely clinging on, then she heard a hound.

Bree lifted her head up to a sound of a dog, but ignored it for now. She had left the patrols into a shady clearing, where she was perfectly camoflagued. She gave a final hiss as she smelled them coming after her. She finally showed herself as she raised herself up threatening, towering over them. She grinned as she smelled the fear from them. In else than the blink of an eye, she pounced, letting out a roar that rang through the whole place. Now she was settling the score.

Loki looks around their present resitence.

Ouno heard the roar and tugged on the stag's antlers. He stopped and then she guided him into the direction of the roar. Soon they stood on a small grasscliff just over Bree and then men around her. Ouno hopped off her stag freind and then glanced around for a safe way down. The stag ran off and then Ouno had an idea. SHe cupped her mouth and then did a long drawn out howl. First it was suddle and then there was a howl back and then another, she grinned as she raced down the hill with 10 reagular timber wolves at her side. She started firing arrows as the wolves lept onot Bree's attackers, some of them even fighting with the hounds.

Bree was confused for a moment at the sight and sound of wolves and howling, but didn't stop her assault. She sniffed the air above and caught Ouno's scent, making her show her pointed teeth in a smile. Now I know that she did this. Smart. She roared and hissed once more as she continued her assault on the remaining men, easily proving how much of a threat she was with her bulk and glare. A few of the dogs were unlucky enough to look at her the wrong way. It was clear who was winning the battle. That is, until Bree froze dead in her tracks. Her nose cringled as her eyes grew wide as she reared up and hissed. She glared at one of the remaining men and gave a sickening shriek before turning to run back to the shadows. She had taken out enough men, but it seemed that she wanted to get out of there now as fast as her limbs could take her.

OUno saw her and then whistleed to high for the humans to hear. The wolves formed around her and kept the wolves behind her to fight off the tohers. Suddelnly she was running by herself after Bree. She winced and then called out a small yelp. SHe regained her balance and then kept running. Despite he whistles Cebrus didn't come, only the small pack of wolves that dwindled to 5 following her a ways back.

When Bree was far enough off, she changed back to her normal form, slightly out of breath. She leaned against a tree as she collected herself. She was slightly pale for some reason, but fine beyond that. That was too close.

Ouno stopped when she saw Bree ahead and then did a another howl, covering her mouth so she seedm farther off. She was telling the wolves to lead them in the wrong direction so that her an Bree could recover. She stepped close to the tree and then winced, glancing down at her splint she had made for herself. "Are you okay? I didn't get out very well," Ouno said wincing and closing one of her eyes. She smiled at Bree though, her firey red hair damp with sweat though.

Bree looked up at Ouno, seeing her splint. "I think that I would be asking you what." She pointed out, gave a slight smirk. "I'm fine, Just had to get outta there as fast as I could." It wasn't normal for Bree to retreat until the battle was done, so something must have set her off.

"What was that back there. I didn't think you to run from a battle," she paused glancing down at her leg. "Oh this thing. that woulld be due to a nasty fall from Cebrus, I think I'm good though,' she said and then winced slightly and giving a nervose laugh. "Where is Loki, did you see him at all?" she asked looking aorund as she heard something move in the bushes.

Bree stayed quiet for a moment as Ouno asked why she retreated. "I didn't see Loki anywhere. Or Brazil for the matter." She was stalling, not wanting to say why she left. "That's doesn't look good to me. We better get outta here. Before they come around here again." 

Ouno could tell she was avoiding her question but nodded at her and started to move. "I told Brazil to go ahead of me and tell you that I was hurt so I was going to be slow. I guess he didn't catch up as fast as I thought he would," she commented and then moved ahead of Bree. 'The wolf pack said they can keep the people occupided for about an hour so we have time to get out of here. Don't go slow though,' she added.

"Wasn't planning on it." She grabbed her bag that she went behing when she changed and started to move. She went as fast as she could without disappearing out of view. "You know anywhere we can stay. This forest has just proved dangerous. Even for me." That last part just slipped out by mistake. She snapped her mouth shut as she started to climb up a tree. Her leg had now healed enough to where she could get back to her element.
