Ouno was keeping up with Bree as she ran, limping just a little, under the trees. There is a village by the river not to far from her. Hidding inside of it is hard but hidding on the limits isn't very hard if you know what you are doing," she commented and then watched her for a moment when she noticed what Bree had said. Ouno grinned just a bit. "I hope Brazil finds us," she said shortly as she leaped over a fallen log, landing on her good leg thankfully.

Bree laughed a bit. "If I know him, he's running back here as we speak." She looked down at Ouno before she stopped. "If you want, I can give ya a lift." She asked, jumping back down to the ground. "Probably faster than limping."

OUno looked over her for a moment and then shook her head. "I'll be fine,...I think, and besides your tired too. I don't want to put you in anymore stress then you already are," she said with a one eye closed smile as she tried to hide her own pain behind her smile. She held up to fingers in a peace sign for a moment as well before she started walking forward just a little. Her limp become extremely evident when she was walking.

Bree looked at her and gave a smirk. "I'm fine. Besides, looks like you need the support. You're about to fall flat on your face." She felt bad taht she was hurt and wanted to help. Plus, it didn't look like she could take no for an answer.

Ouno galnced at her and then looked away at her comment. "that may be but I'm the one who got us into this mess. I'm not going to burden you more," she said as she stopped moving and waited for Bree. She clenched her fists as she looked down at the ground. "And besides that........ I can't ask you to help me when I've done so little in return,' she said and then glanced back at Bree.

Bree cocked an eye as she spoke, not completly understanding. "You've done more than you think." She thought back just to the battle they encountered. "If it wasn't for you being there, I wouldn't have noticed something that they had this time." She said that last part as she slowed down a bit, halfing wishing she didn't say that.

Ouno stopped and then bit her lip as a questions wanted to flow out of her mouth. Finally she broke down. "Waht do you mean by what they had?" she asked as she speed up enough to walk side by side with Bree.

Bree gave a sigh as she looked at Ouno. "Ya see, basilisks don't have a lot of weaknesses, but apparently they found one of mine. I smelled the scent of a rooster nearby. The crow they do can paralyize me in my tracks, making me a lot easier to handle." I looked down at her feet in shame. "I kow it's stupid, but that's just how it works. I smelled one really close by, teling me that they knew what to do to beat me. If you weren't there, I wouldn't have caught the scent in time. That's why we need to get out of this forest ASAP." After she finished that sentence, a familiar chirping filled the air above. Bree looked and smiled to see Brazil above. He chirped happily as he scurried up her arm and nuzzled her cheek. She was glad to see him again.

OUno watche dher, a little surprised but nodded. "I get it. There are just things like that for everyone," she commented. "So head to the village?" hse asked. "there we could make a run for it acorss the river to the lands up north. Or we coul dhead back and go south. What every you want to do I just," she commented and then shrugged sligthly.

"Let's just get to the village for now, then cross that bridge when we get to it." She looked up ahead and tilted her head to the side slightly. "How far do you think it is?" 

Ouno shrugged and then looked up. "I don't know exactly," she said as her eyes seemed to have a smokey screen around them. She tripped and then got up shaking her head. "Don't mind me, I'm just dizzy," she commented so that Bree didn't say anything.

Bree lifted an eyebrow as Ouno tripped. "Dizzy or not, we better keep up the pace. I'm not letting them catch up this time." She picked up her pace and headed onward. "Brazil, keep an eye on her. I want to make sure she's alright." She whispered, who chirped happily in reply. He scurried off her shoulder on climbed onto Ouno's, wagging his tail all the while.

OUno nodded and then got up and then walked faster to keep pace with Bree. She hoped Loki was going to be okay. then again he was a gaint wolf so it wasn't like he was deffensless. She sighed and then patted Brazil as she watched her footing.

Then the group sees a ripple, not in water but in the open sky....
