"What's up is that I don't trust this Lyss character." She kept her gaze serious. "I don't know why, but my instincts are telling me that she's bad news and my instincts are rarely wrong."

Bree nodded her head in agreement. "I will, but I think it's best if I don't tell her about my abilities. If she does prove sour, I can take her by surprise like that." Brazil crept onto her shoulder and chirped in agreement.

Ouno nodded, agreeing to her statement. "I don't beleive I've told you mine, but your fine with that,...right?" she asked glancing at Bree. "Or did you figure it out yourself?" she added with a slight, tense smile. "I do agree to not tell her though," Ouno said and glanced down at her leg.

Bree shrugged her shoulders. "Some I figured out, but I'm not gonna say." She gave a smirk as she crossed her arms and glaned over at Lyss. "I'm just being cautious. I've dealt with this kind of thing before and I don't need a repeat."

Bree stopped as she heard something nearby. She placed a hand up to keep Ouno quiet as she tilted her head to get a better signal. She frowned as her thoughts were verified. She looked over at Brazil ans gave a slight head nod, making him raise his crests up and skitter off her shoulder and out of sight.

OUno had smelled them a while ago, but ahdn't paid attention to them. "Repeat of what?" she asked as though they where continuing the conversation so it didn't tip off their watcher. "And besides that, trust isn't easy to come by betwen anyone," he stated.

Bree gave a questionable look as Ouno continued the conversation. She stayed quiet for a while until she finally gave a slight sigh. "Trusting someone before seeing whether they were an enemy or not." She had a serious sting in her voice.

Bree snapped her head at the sound of the branch snapping, growling under her breath. She crept forward in that direction with a quick and smooth stride. Brazil saw where Xekes had fallen and quickly scurried up to him and bit his pant leg. he growled and hissed angerily as he shook his head as if to rip it off him in vain.

Brazil yelped as his snout was kicked and released the fabric. He scurried away from him and onto Bree's shoulder, who had her arms crossed with a glare that could make the dead shiver. He chirped angerily from his perch before matching his owner's look. "Geez, do you always jump to conclusions so quickly? Your knees must be pretty sore." She snapped.

Bree raised a slight eye to Brazil, who now was quiet for once, and then looked back to Xekes. "What were you doing up in a tree in the first place?" Her voice had a certain warrior quality to it, showing that she was not fooling around. She would get answers first, then decide his fate.

Bree seemed to relax a bit as she watched him, putting her hands on her hips. Brazil cocked his head from side to side in inspection. He doesn't look like he could be a threat at the moment. Better keep a close eye on him. "I don't think you'll have to worry about that." She looked over to Ouno and nodded her head as a signal to put the bow down. "Do you have a name?" She asked, still keeping her warrior atmosphere around her in defense.
