Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno caught the nod out of the corner of her eye and lowered the bow, tucking the arrow back into the quiver on her back. "Your softer today," Ouno mumbled under her breath and then sniffed the air. He smelled human enough though Ouno looked human she had some more ancient races influence which gave her, her sharper features. She toyed with her furry hair and then fixed her green gaze on him. | |

Bree narrowed her eyes at Ouno and gave a slight growl through her teeth at her comment. You call it soft, I call it mercy. She scoffed away the words with a shake of the head and looked back at the guy in front of them. | |

Member Posts: 32 | "My name is Xekes." He replied and glanced up at them. Xekes is thinking these two must be the deadliest warriors. But that's just how he thinks and frankly, he isn't a good fighter, yet. Xekes rubbed his head looking at them. "And.. You are..?" He asked while still in fear thinking they will do something to him. Xekes is also thinking his journey ends now. | |

"I'm Bree. The lizard you smacked in the snout id Brazil." Brazil chirped a not as he rubbed his snout against her skin, trying to get feeling back into it. She back off a bit to let Ouno take the lead. She had done enough talking and was now ready for action. | |

"I'm Ouno, now what are these people your hiding from, we can't have more problems with out at least knowing the details," she said, her tone very serious. She made sure to keep her weight off her broken leg though, careful not to move much as she fixed her bow over her shoulder. | |

Member Posts: 32 | Xekes nodded to Ouno's comment. "I... I don't know who are they but they look like soldiers of some sort. So far, they're unknown enemy forces until we find out.. Or maybe not I suppose.. But that's not important. They also burned my large cabin down to the ground, and I killed two of them with my iron spear during the impact. They've killed my friends so I've avenged them. Somehow for my spear, I must've have lost it since that's my favorite weapon. Other than that those unholy devils are going to pay for what they've done." Xekes stands up and rubbed his head. You can see that he's hot tempered "There's at least 6 of them searching for me to take me in, and later execute me after that, so we need to get out of here. Do we wish to stay here? Or die from their hands? Unless you're powerful warriors..." Xekes said. | |

Bree tilted her head slightly as she heard his tale. Hmm, interesting. He might be useful to keep around. She stayed quiet for a while as she shifted her weight from foot to foot. "Powerful, very much so. Warriors, if when we need to be." She perked her head up a bit as she cracked her knuckles. "Do you know where they are now? I think I can give you guys a bit of time to get some distance." She had that wild streak in her eyes as she thought of going head to head with them. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno elbowed Bree in the ribs. "What about Loki and you know who, we can't just leave them, though they might be better off. He sounds like he is talking about the Kings scouting party," she said quietly to Bree. Her hand tightened on her bow s she spoke, eyeing the knew guy with sucpision. She stayed on her uninjured leg but natural she wanted to shift her weight. When she did she yelped but was able to muffle it by biting her lip and putting her weight back on her other leg. A small tear from the pain ran down her cheek but she was quick to wip it off. | |

Bree growled a bit under her breath as she listened to Ouno. She's right. I can''t be in two places at once. "Don't worry. Her arm is busted and I don't think Loki should be any trouble. I can lead the little troop away from here no sweat on my part. Don't you trust me?" She questioned, now keeping her voice more normal sounding, though she still watched Xekes out of the corner of her eye. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno didn't hesitate, "Yes, I trust you enough. I'll stay with him and then go to the small wood if you do that," she commented, her voice staying strong despite the pain in her leg. | |

Bree nodded sharply as she understood. "Got it. I'll catch up with you as soon as I take care of them." She gave Brazil a slight look and he nodded his head, crawling onto Ouno's shoulder. "Wish me luck." With that and a confident look on her face, she jumped into the trees and headed off to do what needed to be done, changing into her basilisk for when she was out of sight. This is gonna be just the exercise I was hoping for. | |

Member Posts: 32 | Xekes shook his head. "I hope these two doesn't think I'm one of them.. Because I am not. I would love to see these guys die in vain for what they've done to my friends." Xekes looked at Bree with a glare face. "I hope you're not doing this alone. I'll do what I can to help you out. Other than that I'm without a weapon, and I'm not a well trained fighter. But for this opportunity I can manage to sneak on them, and break their necks when I'm in stealth mode." Xekes said and hides behind a tree, waiting for the six enemies to come to their target. However, Jacob made a grinned on his face and can't wait to kill one of them. That said, he can hear them moving and also hearing them talking. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno nodded and then watched Bree leave. She turned back to Xekes she was moving behind the trees and then pulled out her bow. She strung an arrow and then used her hands and good leg to swing into a tree. She took aim on the closest six of them and then smiled slightly. Snipping with arrows was one of her favorite things. She released the arrow and watched it sink into one of the six intruders chest. | |

Bree stalked her way towards the soldiers with a low crawl and a monotone growl from the back of her throat.Time to show them my more 'natural' side. She saw the arrow go through one's chest and the scent of blood set her off. She let out a blood curdling hiss with flared up crests as she lumbered forward into full view. She rose onto her haunches and gave a deep snarl before swiping one of her massive clawed paws at the mass of soldiers. She appeared satisfied through her peircing yellow eyes as she made contact and heard the sound of flesh ripping. | |

Member Posts: 32 | (Sorry to keep you two waiting) The soldier screamed in pain and lay on his knees. He fell backwards when he got hit by the arrow. "An ambush! Split up and kill them all, and take no prisoners!" The squad leader said. They've all split up in different directions, pulling their swords and spears. They keep on yelling. Xekes heard foot footsteps and saw one enemy soldier coming towards the tree where Xekes is hiding. The soldier is looking around, for not paying attention, Xekes instead run into him and pushes him over. He starts to choke him and punching him on the nose. "Die already you bloody animal!!" Xekes yelled. Despites the soldier getting choked and beat up, he grabbed his hand and quickly pulled his knife; he cuts Xekes' wrist double times. Xekes gasphed in pain and the soldier, was about to stab Xekes' chest until Xekes grabbed his wrist, trying to push his knife away. Xekes looked around for Bree and Ouno to see he can help him. Xekes keeps on pushing that enemy's knife away to avoid himself getting stabbed by the enemy. "Argghh..!!" Xekes yelled, trying his best. | |

Bree whipped her head at the sound of screaming, letting out a sickened hiss and snarl. She batted away a soldier with her tail and tackled the soldier on Xekes and pinned him to the ground. This is just too easy sometimes. She roared right into his face and looked him straight in the eye, preparing her deadly stare. | |

Member Posts: 32 | The soldier is shocked, looking into Bree's eyes that he can see his reflection. "Wh..What is thing!?" The soldier manages to hold onto Bree's snout, trying to escape from her. "Help me comrades, I need assistance!" He yelled for help. The four soldiers heard but they don't know where Bree and the soldier is. | |

Bree just narrowed her eyes as her snout was grabbed. Big mistake with me. She hardened her gaze even more, slowly turning making a think layer of stone crawl up him, turning him to stone. Never look into the eyes. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno watched and then let out a wild whoop. She set two arrows and then sent them flying over Bree and into another one if the four soldiers. She lifted her head and let out a wild howl that sounded almost like the real thing. She was grinning wildly by the time she set another few arrows and then kept down when she heard a whoosh below her. She landed strait on Cebrus' large back, his wolf head swinging around as Ouno hung on to his fur. She was glad to have her partner back. | |
