Member Posts: 32 | Xekes looked at them in shocked, he couldn't believe his eyes. "What sorcery...is this..?" Xekes thought. He picked up a sword next to Bree when she turned the enemy into stone. He ran into the squad leader to see if he's dead. He's breathing hard, close to dying. "This is for my friends, and my family!" He strucked down his sword into the squad leader's belly, he screamed in pain and lots of blood spilled out of him; then he died. Xekes shook his head and picked up the enemy's spear. Xekes sat down and face palm; feeling sorrowful for what had happened before. "Should have got there in time.." He thought. | |

Bree blinked to stop her trance as she licked some blood that splattered onto her face. She took her weight off of the squad leader and snorted in his dead face. Serves you right. Pitiful. She looked over to Xekes and exhaled slightly before scanning the area for more intruders. It seems like I'll have to stay like this for a while, just to be safe. He looked over the Cebrus and a slight smile crept onto her scaly maw. Glad to see that he's not dead. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno smiled and slid off Cebrus but the landing was not graceful. She yelped as she landed her weight in te wrong leg and crumbled to her knees. "Owwwwww," she growled. She stood back up with the help of Cebrus's nose in her back that she used as a counter weight. She slung her bow back over her back and then walked over to Zekes and Bree, or rather hobbling over to them with her arm resting on Cebrus' white fur. She stopped when she got close to them and then grinned. "That was great, I felt the rush all right. It's like hunting all over again," she stated. "We should move farther away from the village though, the others can take care of them selves and if we move out we should be able to draw any enemies attention enough so that they can get away if need be," she comented as she looked over at Bree. | |

Bree gave a toothy smirk as her crests rasied a bit. Leave the distraction to me. She rose up and started to lumber in the direction that the soldiers came from. She was in the battle state of mind and was dying to get her claws dirty. | |

Member Posts: 32 | Xekes sniggered and looked at the two. "Yeah that'll show them whose boss all right. Nevertheless, I have my gratitude for helping me out. Other than that there's more, like thousands of them in camps. So whenever you get cross them, stay sharp. You'll never know where they coming. They may be hiding in the woods." Xekes stands up holding his new spear. | |

Bree gave a rumble from the back of her throat as she went ahead of them. I can scout ahead and warn of anything up ahead. She lowered her crests flat against her skin to blend in better and continued her paace. Brazil chirped slightly as he skittered up into the trees and stayed a good bit behind her so that the others could keep up. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno nodded and then grabbed hold of Cebrus' fur, lifting herself up onto his back. Cebrus walked forward right next to Xekes and Ouno put her hand down so that he could grab it. "Come on, we'll get better time this way and it will be harder to track Cebrus then us. Horse are more of up in the loom marsh so you better get use to wolf back," she commented and gazed down at him as she waited for him to grab her hand. If he didn't it wouldn't make a difference, she would still haul him up into Cebrus' back next to her. | |

Member Posts: 32 | Xekes nodded yes and grabbed Ouno's hand, then climbed up to Cebrus' back, sitting next to Ouno. He's not sure about riding a wolf but mainly prefers horses, but he'll get used to it. He now seems to think riding a wolf is better than a horse. But that's just a thought of his, but he'll see it for himself to see what Cebrus is capable of."I'm not sure if this animal is faster, what does he or she do? This seems really exciting as a matter of fact I've never rode a giant wolf before." Xekes stated, examining around the forest. He's a bit nervous since he's thinking he is going to die in a battle. He gulped and examined his spear, and then his sword that belonged to one of the soldiers. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno laughed lightly. "Just hang into my waist. It's usually smoother then a horse and faster but falling off is not a good thing," she commented. She felt Cebrus tense and then he took off like a bullet from the chamber. She leaned forward and hung into his fur, felling the breeze on her face as he sprung over large roots and catching up to Bree, slowing down only so that Bree could still scout ahead. Cebrus' even stride had her clinging to him though, it felt more like floating across the ground at a dangours speed rather the running, almost having no feeling of being grounded by anything. | |

Bree kept her stride far and silent, despite her large size. She stopped once or twice to listen for soldiers, growling when she heard something, then turned away to take the safest route. She smelled the air and hissed frequently as her crests flared. It was clear she was getting more frazzled by the minute. If I have to see one of those low lives, I'm going to enjoy ripping them apart. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno laughed but knew what he was talking about. She let out a sharp grunt when she saw Bree a few lengths ahead. She sat up as much a she dared, Ceburs slowing to a fluid fox trot about 500 yards behind Bree in her other form. Ouno glanced down at her hands, suddenly aware if Xekes hands on her waist. She didn't say anything though and looked forward. She saw Brazil in the trees above them and then chirped a message at him to take to Bree. 'Ask Bree if its still clear,' she chirped up to Brazil, put emphises on her short words. | |

Brazil nodded his head in agreement and quickly caught up to Bree, repeating the message. Bree stopped and sniffed the air heavily, growling harshly in response. Her crests flared as she bared her teeth. They're close. Too close. She looked over to Brazil and he nodded before going back to Ouno. 'Bree said no. Close. No go left..' Bree hissed as she looked over to her left, then turned right sharply. | |

Xekes looked around, even still holding onto Ouno's waist but never notice it since he is busy focusing looking around the forest for more guys to neutralize. "There better not be to many, otherwise we would fall into a trap. Regardless, there are scounts in the area when I was running away from those soldiers that we killed. They're not soldiers but they look like one in some form. I don't who is in charge of them. Other than that I can tell you how many groups are they." Xekes commented. He slightly lowered his spear. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | Ouno nodded at Brazil and then glanced back at Jacob. "That may be true but they are after power so it's not like they would kill you first," she said, "Hold on," she added. Cebrus dodged to the right sharply and bounded for a few minutes behind Bree. She could hear Cebrus grunt and knew he must have stepped or tripped because he slowed for a moment. She patted him and he instently returned pace. Ouno glanced back at Jacob again. "They where probably power seekers, looking for people with unquie abilities," she stated and ten looked back ahead at Bree. | |

Bree finally stopped after a good distanse and changed back to her human form. She still looked pretty fired up and tense. "Yeah, people who could actually give them an advantage." She scoffed as she grabbed a branch and pulled herself up in a tree. "It sounded like they've stopped for a while and set up camp a few miles away." She pointed in the direction she could smell smoke from a fire. "We should be able to rest and think of our next step for the night at this distance. If they even try to grab a hold of me, they'll more than regret it." Brazil chirped as he perched himself next to her, whipping his head and tail in watch. | |

Member Posts: 32 | Xekes nodded in agreement. "Then it's settled. To night should be perfect, that's our chance sneaking up on them in the darkness. If you're willing to..." Xekes exhaled. "I do have one magic ability, and is very powerful. But it drained last night before I've met you two. Thus it should be up shortly. I think that's the reason why they're after me." Xekes stated, being angry for what the enemy did to his love ones. "I'm going to blow them up, since my power are fireballs, really high end that can blow up half the fields. They're all going to be neutralize. However I'm careful, I don't want you two and your lizard friend to get caught in the blast. If I only I can drain it a little.." Xekes warned. He doesn't know how to use it properly, but he's able to aim it well. | |

Site Owner Posts: 252 | She slid off Cebrus and then sat down, careful of her leg. "I won't be much help, even if I took on my other form," she commented and shuddered slightly when she said that. "I have around two dozen arrows left but that's pretty much it, and if course my dagger that has an enchantment in it but that's it," she commented. Cebrus laid down, rapping himself around Ouno so she could have something to lean back on. She sighed and then pulled her bow out, pulling out her oil as well and oiling the wooden bow, glancing up at Bree. "I do agree that we should rest first. I have dried deer patties that have seasionings in them if any one wants one," she commented and pulled out her bag. She pulled out one patty, throwing it to Cebrus and then eating one herself. "We shouldn't lite a fire though. It will attract attention," she commented. | |
